Location Description
The Highway 278 and Highway 141 corridor is the gateway to Hardeeville, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island and is currently the fastest-growing area of South Carolina. The 7,000 acre East Argent Tract adjoins the property is permitted for over 12,000 homes. Sun City, which will have a Highway 141 entrance in front of the Peninsula Tract has over 12,000 current residents and at full build-out will have 16,000. Core Properties is developing the West Argent Tract (Traditions) three miles west of this site which will have 5,000 acres and 9,500 homes. The University of South Carolina has opened it's new campus less than two miles from the site and the Technical College of the Low Country has also opened a campus within 1.5 miles of the site.
